(tiny violins). Whenever I tell myself I'm going to sit down and make some progress I spend three hours doing anything BUT that. I have to gain a little self-discipline.Sarah https://www.blogger.com/profile/14091395645226862871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4378097844019756833.post-71056426288038670792012-03-18T09:00:17.699-05:002012-03-18T09:00:17.699-05:00I also have many books in my head; I think most pe...I also have many books in my head; I think most people do. Well, people who like books do. Not people like my husband or my daughter. lol Sarah, you only need to go back over this blog, pull all the posts that have 'teaching' as the topic and expand them. You'd have a 23 chapter book in no time. I read a 'memoir' style book by Hollis Gillespie called 'Bleachy Haired Honky Bitch' (oh yes, you should read it) and some of the chapters were only 3-4 pages long. You ARE an author, and you SHOULD write a book :-)
I think it's cool that you get excited about meeting authors. Like they're the real celebrities to you. In my last (lame) bookclub, I picked a book called 'The Tale Of Halcycon Crane' after I read a review in that local Area Woman magazine. The author is from Duluth, so I shot her an email, told her my bookclub was reading her book and invited her to our meeting. She actually came and sat there and answered questions about the book and writing and publishing in general. It was SO awesome.Dana McKibbage Waldbillignoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4378097844019756833.post-33366748707033118242012-03-17T00:41:59.231-05:002012-03-17T00:41:59.231-05:00Oh, ya I've got books in my head too...I think...Oh, ya I've got books in my head too...I think they would be very interesting (to Millie maybe).

If you publish a book I don't want it for Christmas...that doesn't count.

Good luck Stupe!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
