You can almost hear the goading voice some toadying brine shrimp out of frame, "Do it! Cut him, Rico!" Or perhaps that's just me. I am, after all, concluding about eleven straight hours of software development, and at such times I often hear a mysterious voice suggesting that Rico should cut someone. Maybe that's all it is.

Are you sure they aren't doctors discussing the incision cite?
