Garden

I planted my garden. I tried to plant the upside-down hanging tomatoes in the hangers Mitch got last year (in which he grew stunningly awesome tomato plants that he was obnoxiously smug about).
I only planted two of the four because it was really hard. They are super heavy and the stupid tomato plants are fragile and on the first one I broke off a bunch of it's little branches, so on the second one I tried stuffing the roots through the hole instead of stuffing the plant, and within an hour it was dead. It was so sad, just waving limply in the wind. So screw that.

I do not have a green thumb so I plant a lot and am happy if anything comes up. Last year I planted 80 tomato plant seeds. Guess how many came up? None. I over watered. This year I planted seven mounds of cucumbers which Mitch thinks is WAY too much, but I think it's like invitro fertilization - you plant a bunch and hope at least one grows. I also planted a bunch of peas and tomatoes in pots, and carrots. Last year I planted peas and only two plants grew, and I accidentally weeded both of them before they actually grew any peas. If this year's garden grows half as good as my chin hair, I'll be rich with vegetables in a few months.

  1. Hilarious. This is the reason I have reservations about planting a garden, my houseplants need life support. I overwater, underwater/and I don't even know what else. I love plants why do they need to die to get away from me?
